2009’s Year End Reflection
We always seem to have forgotten the passing time when we have been made very busy with either routine or non-routine matters and hard work in our efforts to achieve targets and hopes. As soon as our eyes are open realizing that the year is changing, we have no choice but, again, arrange our new plans and new targets, evaluate what we have achieved and do many other things.
Looking back into 2009, we observe that the economic condition did not show its recovery and business sectors indicated their hyper-competition. In line with the above-described condition, PT Swadaya Graha has been implementing a number of improvement programs, such as management system aspects, to strengthen the company’s position. For the aspect above, the company has upgraded its Quality Management System from ISO 9001 : 2000 to ISO 9001 : 2008. Beside, it has also upgraded the Management System from OHSAS 18001 : 1999 to OHSAS 18001 : 2007, an international safety management standard implemented as one of the basis in the implementation of Occupational Heath and Safety Management System.
The company has performed the above-mentioned improvements to realize its commitment to prioritizing product quality for customers’ satisfaction as well as occupational health and safety management system for employees. To welcome the new year, the company has planned to establish information technology-based management system in an effort to improve its performance and profitability.
Last but not least, we wish to call on everybody to welcome the new year with the spirit of doing and being better than that of the previous year.
